These are laser cut, Type 304 stainless steel 1/2" pitch chain drive bicycle cogs. They are cut to match a standard 6-bolt mtn bike disc rotor mount. Laser etched tooth count and logo, ground tooth bevel. Not intended for use with 9-speed chains, spend 15 bucks and get yourself a SRAM PC-58. Available in 16t, 17t, 18t, 19t & 20tooth.
How?
1: Remove rear wheel from bicycle.
2: Unscrew 6 bolts and remove disc rotor.
3: Bolt TomiCOG to hub.
4: Flip wheel and remount with chain on the TomiCOG.
5: Enjoy the journey of a fixed gear.
Disclaimers:
If your singlespeed uses a springy type device to achieve chain tension, you can not run as a fixed gear. If you do not understand what I mean, do some research and come back later.
By using a TomiCOG, you will not be able to also run a rear disc brake. Without a rim brake option YOU are the source of rear wheel braking. If you do not understand the implications of that, then the TomiCOG is not for you.
I highly recommend running a front brake at all times.

ChainRings!
Yep, I'm also making chainrings now. 'Stock' sizes are 32t & 34t, in both 102(XTR) and 104 4 bolt patterns. Pricing is $40 each + shipping (~$5).
Can also make custom rings, shoot me an email, we'll see what can be done.
I'd love to hear the stories of TomiCOG adventures. Send me your pics and trip/race reports and I'll do my best to keep the story rolling on this site.
Who?
yeah, who?
I'm a bike nut. I love to ride bicycles. I love to pedal bicycles, pedal, pedal, pedal. Mtn bikes are my niche, with a whiff of closet roadie. Engineer by trade, amazed by the physiological machine, heard a knocking at the door. Inspired by the 24hr legend of Hugh Jass, I embarked on my own fixed gear journey. Couple seasons and a handful of hundreds latter, here I am, next step up the ladder, just trying to build upon the foundation. I've achieved some goals and discovered new ones to chase, but it's really nothing new. When you take a look back, we're all just chasing ghosts.
